The Burgess Show 2006
Burgess Agricultural Equipment – one
of the UK’s leading agricultural and ground care equipment
distributors – hosts an annual show at the County Showground,
Stafford.
ABC took a brief to develop communication materials to promote the
Show. The objective was to raise maximum awareness of the event
and drive footfall.
Event Impact
• ABC developed a show logo for quick recognition and used it
with strong images and copy for maximum impact.
•
Postcard mailers were developed for both agriculture and ground care market sectors and
mailed to over 12,000 potential visitors.
•
Adverts and advertorials were placed within key industry sector
titles including regional press for maximum awareness.
•
Large posters and fliers were also produced to publicise the
show through Burgess outlets.

Positive Results
The promotional campaign resulted in around 4000 visitors attending
the show with exhibitors achieving either orders or positive sales
enquiries.
