Identity and Marketing Support
IAE is the UK’s leading livestock
equipment manufacturer, long established with a reputation for quality,
service and innovation.
With major investment in a new site and production facilities, IAE
wanted to build on its success to date with a new phase of growth.
The company recognised that in order to maximise future sales opportunities,
it needed to review its current marketing activities. Working with
the Directors of IAE, ABC developed a communication programme to
support the company’s growth expectations.
A new identity
Our involvement included a complete review of IAE’s marketing
activities, starting with the corporate identity.
By creating an evolution of the existing logo we were able to present
a more modern, dynamic and up-to-date image. Our aim was to move
IAE to a position of providing customers with quality equipment
‘solutions’ to their livestock needs.
The selected identity retained a strong engineering ‘feel’,
maintaining both the name in upper case font as well as the existing
strapline, to support the strength of IAE’s product quality
message. Additionally, the use of a strong typeface and introduction
of yellow as an impact-creating secondary colour is now helping
better customer recognition.
A complete solution
Implementation included production of guidelines for all IAE’s
group companies as well as execution of stationery, product literature,
vehicle livery, product labels and exhibition display material.
ABC provides IAE with ongoing marketing communication support including
website development, advertising campaign management and media relations.
